New York City.
Many a movies have been filmed, songs written – from the great Frank Sinatra’s ‘New York, New York’ to the latest (and highly criticized) one by Taylor Swift and my favorite and the dearest to my heart, Alicia Keys’s genius in Empire State of Mind – about this everything awesome city. My favorite city. Note I spelled ‘favorite’ the American way to be in tune with this blog’s subject – America’s flagship city.
My fascination for New York City is so thumping great I cannot NOT write a blog post or two, or probably dedicate an entire blog about and around it.
But let me start with this photo blog. A ‘Faces of New York’ series. Faces and spaces, scenes from the streets of New York, the subway, and other known and unknown spots that show the Big Apple is such a melting pot of culture, of people each with their own individual artistic expression that makes this vibrant city even more colorful.

Faces of New York – Central Park in Summer
Faces of New York – Central Park in Autumn
The movie I saw over the weekend reminded me of this beautiful line..
“Be kind to everyone because everyone you meet is fighting some sort of battle.”
