Height: 5 ft 3 in

Weight: 50 kg

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Black

Occupation: Nurse

Binibining Julie Vi Donila Gacias, a nurse currently working at King Abdulaziz Medical City, have always been partial to this line about life – “Life is a continuous journey full of risks and challenges that you just need to deal with.” Her empathy for these words speaks a lot about her character of being a strong-willed lady.  The kind of personality she will impress upon you once you get to know her.

This morena beauty from Marikina and very proud of her Ilocano roots is one of the ten candidates for Binibining Turismo Filipinas 2015.  On the hypothetical question why should she be the next Binibining Tusimo Filipinas, Julie, with all the confidence she could muster says that she should be chosen as the winner because she imbibes the true values of a modern Filipina – simple and God-fearing yet independent and with a great sense of humor.  And if we may add, the smarts too!

She counts surfing the internet and watching movies among her typical pastime activities. But not many may know what this binibini loves most is diving. Yes she is a PADI-certified advanced level diver and can tell you so much about the rich beauty of the Red Sea among other diving spots she’s been under like the waters of Okinawa, Japan.  She recalls that vacation in the land of the rising sun was her most unforgettable experience aside from doing what she loves doing – diving – she also got to experience the diverse Japanese culture and tradition.
